Exchange students were able to carry out a workshop in which they had to create a poster using the Smart Recipes Book. It was made the 8th of May 2019, first day of the Project Final Meeting in Córdoba.

The Czech students worked together with their Spanish partners in groups of four.

First, each group had to decide on the special diet they wanted to work on: vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, lactose free, low calorie, Halal, Kosher, Sephardic  or Mediterranean. Each group had to choose a different diet so all of them were represented.

They started to invent the name of the restaurant which had to make reference to the chosen category.

Then, using the recipe book, they had to choose a starter, a main course and a dessert which suited the category using the symbols and looking at the ingredients.

They illustrated the chosen ingredients with supermarket leaflets or with drawings they made.

They result was a poster advertising a menu for a restaurant specialized in one of the special diets.

Some students wrote the recipe and the Smart Tip. Others wrote slogans to advertise the restaurant.

The 42 students in the exchange were split in two groups. One group was working on this as the other was cooking a healthy breakfast with the PTVAL students in their cooking room.

It was a great opportunity for students to cooperate speaking, listening, reading, writing and drawing making use of the brand new recipe book the two schools have just finished after a two year work. It was a very good opportunity to break the ice at the beginning of our exchange, too.
